Project managers are responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Project managers plan and designate project resources, follow budgets, monitor progress, and keep the team (estimators, sales team, engineers) informed the entire way. A Project Manager is responsible for following the scope and working with the on-site Supervisor to carry out a scope of work until completion. The Project Manager is responsible for monitoring the man hour budget to ensure the total hours for a project do not exceed the allowable budget. A Project Manager will discuss with the Operations Manager, the manpower/qualifications of personnel required to complete assigned project(s). As a Project Manager, daily communication with team leads and POC’S is critical to ensuring project goals and expectations are met.

$70,000 to $80,000 a year

The Foreman oversees the Team Lead or Team Leads and is responsible for the direct communication of the job between the Team Leads and the Project Managers.  While the Team Lead’s primary responsibility is to manage their site and their crew, the foreman takes it to the next level to make sure that the Team Leads are set up for success working with their crews. Their main objective is to ensure the job is done successfully, within the scope of work, and to ensure the customer is satisfied with the job. Foreman work very closely with the Project Managers for support and guidance during the duration of the project.

$ 28 to $ 35 an hour

A Team Lead’s primary responsibility is to manage their site and their crew. Their main objective is to ensure the job is done successfully, within the scope of work, and to ensure the customer is satisfied with the job. The team lead is also responsible for overseeing all technicians that are assigned to their job site each day. Team leads are to ensure proper time keeping by all crew members, inventory of materials, completion of reports, and other logs or forms that may be required by sites.  Team Leads work very closely with their foreman and their Project Managers for support and guidance during the duration of the project.

$ 22 to $ 30 an hour

A Technician’s primary responsibility is working with the crew to complete the scope of work in a safe and timely manner. Technicians generally work on Data Center sites and perform a wide range of work including cleaning, installations, fabrications, deconstruction, repairs, and other various tasks as needed by the customer or project.  They report directly to the team leads.

$ 18 to $ 26 an hour

Fabrication Techs are responsible for all day-to-day in-house production. They are to directly support the Production Manager by completing assigned task and making production goals, while assisting with quality control. Additionally, they are to help provide tool and shop equipment maintenance and keep maintain detailed records of daily operations.

$ 20 to $ 25 an hour
